So, I get alot of calls for family shoots, which I love and are super fun, but I was feeling a little out of creativity. I needed to get out and do something different. I owed a friend Alex a favor for making me a wicked birthday cake for my daughters 8th birthday party, so we decided it would be a creative lifestyle shoot where she could show off her makeup and modelling skills. We wanted to do a goth winter shoot, and set up a date where it was supposed to snow. Low and behold there was no snow falling, and it was freezing cold!  So after meeting up at her place, trudging through bushes and trails and getting stuck on Barbed wire fences we found some cool spots to do the shoot.

Alex was a pro as she is at everything, with me being horrible at giving direction and freezing up at shoots, she was more than willing to wing it and pose for me without any direction at all.

This chick is a budding photographer who has an eye for some pretty amazing things, She is becoming a pro at Photoshop, master at singing and guitar, is a great momma,  make up artist and an all around amazing person. You can check out her stuff at https://www.facebook.com/eyeofthebeholder.photographybyalex

Thanks Alex for the amazing day, and making my creativity come out of hiding.
